The Gifted airs tonight, lets discuss it here.
The Gifted discussion topic (Spoilers)
What part of the update are you going to be most disappointed with.
When it gets delayed for a couple more months?
When Every Hero has to regear from scratch?
When PVP become the latest game node removed and never replaced?
When you answer for the 100th time in chat that the unique achievements are now impossible to get?
When you find hundreds of new bugs but none of the old ones have been fixed?
When you open loot boxes to find out they now give even less then they did before?
When we have major unrecoverable bugs with the costume closet and all kinds of stuff gets lost?
Watching the days since login on all your friends account count up?
The unannounced changes that make the game even less fun?
Seeing all you in game curance now being good to buying fortune cards full of nothing but credit boosts?
Me personally it's going to be having the only thing to do still be to tick slowly towards the 500 bonus chest achievement of the same tired Terminals with no reward other than the pathetic achievement chests and a few points on my score.
Time to acknowledge that the BUE was, in fact, MH's version of the NGE.
Back when the BUE first hit, many threads and posts compared it to Star Wars Galaxies' infamous New Game Enhancements, the NGE. Many decried the comparison as unfair, and pointed to the great direction that the BUE would allow the game to go in. Omega items and difficulty were brought up as things to look forward to, and in every doom and gloom thread there were dozens of posts from players assuring other players that the sky was not, in fact, falling.
And yet, with the recent communication disasters, it has become very clear that Gaz has not learned from their own mistakes or the mistakes of others in the industry. Much like the NGE's beginnings, the BUE was not the enhancement to the game it was claimed to be, rather it had ulterior motives behind it: in this case, the advent of the console port and the eventual need to synchronize the two platforms, to the PC platform's detriment. Just like the NGE, the BUE was unfinished and unpolished, with heroes/classes that did not perform nearly as well as they had beforehand, amidst bugs aplenty and poor design decisions. Just like the NGE, there was a shortage of new content for months.
But those similarities were not enough to justify the direct comparison at the time the update launched. With the handling of Omega items, Omega Prestige and the severe lack of respect the higher-ups have for the playerbase, though, not only has the BUE proven to be an NGE-level disaster, it has arguably surpassed the infamous patch in its damage dealt.
Despite the NGE, SWG lasted for six more years, during which time the game underwent significant improvements driven by community feedback. SOE, to its credit, spent a long time re-adding features that players were deservedly upset about losing, and adding features that players had asked for. They weren't 100% transparent, no, but their communication improved considerably and the higher-ups, particularly John Smedley, very obviously learned from that massive mistake.
What we've seen from Gaz's higher-ups is, well, nothing. Cancelling a planned community event and refusing to answer the license question--after this much of a debacle, company policy is no excuse. Change direction from the top down--does not give players confidence in the company. MH in all likelihood has fewer active, paying players than SWG did back then, and SWG was lucky it lasted with those numbers, and it never even came close to recouping what it lost. And now instead of details of near-future plans we're getting teases of potential updates in 2018, most if not all of which are unlikely to have had any work done on them at all as yet. God knows none of that work would be shared if it existed.
Much like the NGE, the BUE and its fallout will shape the future of MH going forward. The question, then, is whether MH will survive for another six years, and maybe--with enough hard work, marketing, returning player incentives, continuous apologies and an overdose of luck--recoup or surpass its player count or if it will wither and die before 2019 is even on the radar. Everything I've seen thus far points to the latter. I hope the dev team won't be downsized too much when the time comes, they shouldn't have to pay for the company's mistakes and lack of ability to learn from said mistakes.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe the fallout from this month's events will be enough of a kick in the pants to affect real change. Either way, I'm not going to be around to see it. Might check in once in a while, but this'll probably be my last post.
TL;DR don't overhaul your game behind closed doors, don't make massive changes to announced features behind closed doors, don't make excuses for keeping important info behind closed doors, and open your damn doors more.
Edit: One more thing to note. In retrospect, it has been widely agreed that the worst aspect of the NGE was not the overhaul to the game itself, but the way it was sprung on players. A new expansion had just been released, people had preordered and bought the expansion and the game was moving on as-is until it was not. Out of nowhere, the NGE was announced and open to test. It had apparently been in development for months without players knowing about it at all, and was going live with very little (read: none) opportunity for feedback. Players were furious about the update itself, yes, but it was the complete lack of respect for the playerbase that was the true damaging force behind SWG's collapsing reputation. As mentioned, SOE quickly changed its direction and priorities in that regard, and the game soldiered on. MH's future is yet to be determined.
Age Of Apocalypse on Console but NOT PC??
@Orren @Winterthur @MichaelMayhem @AgentPilot
So, I just saw that today Console is getting AOA...why is PC not getting it?! Did I completely miss something? Is all new content going to Console first now?? Will PC get no new content until the Omega patch is finally released?
Inhumans Discussion Topic (Spoilers)
Since this will be on tomorrow night for everyone to see, lets have a place to discuss it.
Actual Mutants
Who are we and and are we actual mutants?
Casual easy going players. More mutations that you can count and sadly not many superpowers derived from these...
Our aim is to just have fun. Not much more to it than that. We're for the time being all longtime players who have been in other supergroups who have decided to make our own and now wish to expand our little fun group.
We're mostly a european group with a few americans but open to all so active hours are mostly CET. This could of course change if the americans decide to invade our group
Raids:
Is something we want to do! We have raided quite a lot in the past and want to get them going again.
Themed raids is a thing! Silly requirements for raids ups the fun factor instead of just hitting Surtur over the head for the bajillionth time. Examples of these could be all squirrel girl, all avengers etc.
Requirements:
As long as you're willing to have fun, participate in chat and of course willing to help those who may need it, then this is the place for you. The more mutations the better!
A note on voice chat:
We get asked this a lot and it's not something we do as such. We're not opposed to you using it but (for now anyway) it will not be a requirement.
Who are the mutants I need to get in touch with?
@Archenegger
@LoveSponge
@iamLooseCannon
@Miwicala
@roninken

[HERO GUIDE 2017]: Star Spangled Avenger [08/26/17]
First and foremost, this is purely a cosmic farming build. I'm not trying to suggest this is the best for pure numbers. I'm putting this out there purely because people have been asking about what I'm doing to not get pasted in Cosmic Level Terminals and Patrols since the big patch. The secret? I'm basically using the same build as I did a week ago.

Talents:
- Combat Surge, for the purpose of this build you're going to need/want the serum built from meteor kick and vibranium bash.
- Impenetrable, we don't want Indestructible Shield taking up bar space. This makes it activate automatically.
- Cutting Edge, gives our shield throws a bleed effect. This is essential for damage layer and making our Furry Mane. You'll take it and like it, soldier.
- Serum Rush, this is where we get our damage. Every serum point spent is going to make our cooldowns hit hard enough to be on par with most other heroes, post BUE. If you don't utilize this, don't expect TTK to be competitive. On the flip side, you're forced to learn a rotation, instead of just button smashing. Sorry.
- Inspiration, is another trait we're taking for it's utility, but also because it activates automatically when we use our signature. So it saves bar space and empowers. Just salute, click this trait and move on.
Infinity System:
- Power Gem -- Power Gem -- Superhuman & Strike Through
With my current gear the way it is, the one thing Cap's current kit is lacking? Damage. I try to make up for that a little bit here by focusing entirely on getting some much needed Brutal Strike Chance and Brutal Strike Damage.
Reality Gem -- Potency
Potency is really the only choice and as you get more Infinity Points, this should be something you eventually max out. A very big chunk of Cap's damage is garnered through his, admittedly broken, signature.Soul Gem -- Fighting
Once you've maxed out Brutal Strike, Brutal Damage, and got the other necessary point bonuses in other categories? Fighting. Every additional 25 points you earn, go here.Space Gem -- Gravity Well
Another "point dump" here. We want to get the bonus to medkit, it's essential. I tested with 100 and 150, but unfortunately with Cap's current kit the way it is? We need additional damage far too much. We have to put those points elsewhere. So take your medkit bonus and move along quickly.Time Gem -- Temporal Loophole
Loophole was only worth the points until approximately 18%, at which point it was showing significant diminishing returns. Your gear will determine where it does for you, but then switch to your movement talent of choice. I went with Time Flux in the end, because I found myself never really needing my dash cooldowns to be faster thanks to Aerial Assault in combat.Mind Gem -- Mental Focus
So the reason I cover this Gem last is because your choice here is going to be entirely gear dependant. I've invested a lot of the in-game money, in to getting very near-perfect gear rolls on most of my Cap's gear. This translates in to 57% crit. I'm already hitting the point where Crit chance is dimenished. So my points are best spent in Crit Damage, then dumping all my additional points in to fighting.PROCs -- All
One thing you'll notice, is that I put at least one point in to every proc. This is purely for the additional damage. Cap's kit is hurting for damage. So any potential additional source of it is worth a minor investment. However if you're just starting out? These can be skipped. They're purely optional. When seconds start to matter to you? Go get those nodes, but remember not to to point dump in to them at the sacrifice of Fighting.
Skills:
- Vibranium Bash, is my nuke and generator thanks to Combat Surge.
- Meteor Kick, another double duty ability as it's a generator and execute thanks to Combat Surge.
- Torqued Shield Throw , serves mostly as filler. I like to switch my talents to Coordinated Strikes in heavy trash areas, then use this as trash clear at times when the bleed from cutting edge isn't as useful due to things dying quickly for the damage layer payoff.
- Airborne Assault, is your basic positioning and filler attack. Can be used to trigger your midtown signets if you use those.
- Shield Bash, pure filler really. Benefits nicely from heavy deflect ratings on Cap's gear and his main stat (Strength).
- Shield Bounce / Shield Toss, I'm using both depending on the situation. Bounce puts my damage layer on everything around me, while Toss does a bit more single target damage. I was using Toss on my Dummy attempts, but found Bounce favorable in Midtown.
Rotation
- Airborne Assault: [ With or without Serum, it's primary purpose is the vulnerability at the beginning. ]
- Shield Bounce: [ Buffed Bleed applied. ]
- Meteor Kick: [ Build Serum to Max! ]
- Star-Spangled Strike: [ Cooldown is reduced, you're buffed, let's kick some Nazi butt!]
- Shield Bash or Torque Shield Throw: [ If you're surrounded by trash mobs, use Torqued Shield Throw, if you're alone with the Boss, then shield bash him in the kisser. ]
- Vibranium Bash: [ This is your nuke, so have this going at all times. It'll keep you constantly generating Serum to Spend.]
Alternate Rotation
- Airborne Assault: [ With or without Serum, it's primary purpose is the vulnerability at the beginning. ]
- Shield Bounce: [ Buffed Bleed applied. ]
- Meteor Kick: [ Build Serum to Max! ]
- Star-Spangled Strike: [ Cooldown is reduced, you're buffed, let's kick some Nazi butt!]
- Shield Bash or Torque Shield Throw: [ This now depends entirely upon which skill you've replaced with Backflip! ]
- Backflip: [ Use this whenever you want to get out of bad, move away from combat..etc, then Airborne Assault back to the action! ]
- Vibranium Bash: [ This is your nuke, so have this going at all times. It'll keep you constantly generating Serum to Spend.]
Okay. So now a little explanation here. This is not a button mash build, folks. You are going to be in the middle of bulked up Trash and Bosses that can actually kill you now. So follow "Cap's Advice," stick and move. Use your dash for it's CC removal and invulnerability. Use Airborne Assault to reposition. Never worry about using Airborne Assault to move around, it's purpose is application of Vulnerbility -and- Movement (both for a trigger and surviving). Since you'll be moving around, there's significant time to build up 5-10 serum between the attacks that actually matter. You'll want 5+ serum for Torque Shield Throw, Shield Bash, routinely. If you have extra time, use it for Airborne Assault, just because it's there for utility doesn't mean we can't make it hurt more if we have time. However. ALWAYS have 10 Serum for Star-Spangled Strike.

Uniques:
- Skrull's Mighty Hammer, this has +1 Fighting and is enchanted with Critical Hit Rating.
- Stark Industries Support Armor, this has +1 Fighting and is enchanted with Health.
- Invaders Photograph, this has +1 Fighting and is enchanted with Health.
- Boondockers, this has +1 Fighting and is enchanted with Health.
- The Captain's Mask, this has +1 Fighting and is enchanted with Health.
- Xavier's Class Ring or Slingring, the Slingring is good for TTL, Class Ring is a little better for TTK.
Not much to say here. I'm sporting Cap's personal uniques in all slots but the first. I am maximizing my DMG, CHR/CDR and attribute rolls. On my gear, I'm accepting just about anything else on the peripheral stats, but I do make an effort to have to keep health, attack speed and spirit cost rolls in the yellow.
Prior to the update, I used a X-Men Uniform, and Goat Mask. After just a handful of Cosmic Doctor Doom runs and 10 hours of Cosmic Patrols I ditched the any hero uniques, because his own uniques just offered way too much TTL, without seeming to lose ANYTHING from TTK.
Artifacts:
- Gem of the Kursed
- Crossbone's Teaching Credentials
- Sacred White Gorilla Necklace
- Sabertooth's Fury Main.
There are some really good alternatives to these depending upon whether you want more TTK or more TTL, with one noteable exception. Sabretooth's Furry Mane tested so far above everything else for me, that I found it to be performing significantly better than anything else I own. Even without a cosmic affix, it was performing better than anything else I had. So if you have one of these to spare or if Cap is your main? Put it on him.
Update [08/26/17]: Sabertooth's Fury Mane is currently testing better for Cap than any other artifact in the game. Still. However, as you progress along in your gearing a number of Cosmically Enhanced versions of some artifacts pull ahead of non-cosmic versions. For example a cosmic version of Captain America's Star pulled ahead of a non-Cosmic Gorilla Necklace (One of the only artifacts that I've yet to get a cosmic version of, sadly).
Legendary:
- Savage Axes
- Shield of Perseus
- Excalibur (?)
At first, I was dying constantly in anything that hit back. So I went immediately to old faithful Shield of Perseus. After about two hours, I got the "feel" of things. At that point, I first tried out an old Excalibur that I had in my bags and suddenly was having no trouble at all. By the end of last week, I had put my Savage Axes back on. While I still die occasionally in Patrols ( I swear, mostly due to not being able to see the Boss indicators or the invisible trash ), once I got the feel of how how much damage that I could soak before I needed to retreat it was really fine with the Savage Axes. In Cosmic Danger Room, I stick to the Shield of Perseus.
Relics:
- Atlantis, I use these 99% of the time on Cap.
- Lemuria, is really a good solution for folks with lower end gear or those who don't like the movement aspect of ... y'know... not standing in bad.
Medallion:
- S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Medallion, nuff said.
- Onslaught Medallion, not optimal really, but if you don't have the Agent Medallion maybe.
- Red Skull Medallion, I tinkered with this too on the dummy and it helped for TTK, but I took it off pretty much as soon as things began hitting back.
Insignia:
- Captain America
- Spider-Man
- Eric O'Grady
- Mockingbird
I'm using a Cap Insignia, with CHR and CDR. However, what you will actually want? Is CHR and your choice of utility stat. If that's CHD, Health, Attack Speed...etc, pick what you need. Just remember Crit Hit Rating and Brutal Hit Rating are point for point the "Best in the Business" post BUE.
Isotope:
The new Isotopes have a treasure trove of good stuff on them. I'm using one of the new versions that I got with an ancient device turn in. Mine has +3 fighting, 1000 defense, Spirit on Hit, attributes after using signature.
Uru-Forge:
- All Father's Fury
- Unstoppable Force
- Lady of the Sword
- Power Doop (TTK only)
Team Up:
- Phil Coulson, if you have him? Use him. In fact use him as an active team up. Seriously. He's actually doing almost as much damage as a number of playable heroes.
- Falcon, has the same passive bonuses as Coulson. But Coulson has additional summons that give a major bump to TTL. Old skool Falcon seems to be in need of a revamp.
- Domino, use if you're going to stick to passive boost, but at least for my setup Domino was almost the same as having no team up at all.
Pet Stats:
- Health
- Spirit
- Critical Damage
- Crit Rating & Attack Speed on hit for 12 seconds (15 second cooldown)
- Fighting
Synergies:
- Ant-Man
- War Machine
- Cable
- Wolverine
- Squirrel Girl
- X-23
- Moon Knight
- Elektra
- She-Hulk
- Nightcrawler or Cyclops ( If you need XP for ANY REASON on any character, use Cyclops. No other synergy gives you enough of a bonus to overcome the XP bonus. )
Monkey King as Playable (Shape-shifiting)
Anyone else knew this guy?
Could be awesome have him as a playable because of his shape-shifiting abilities. I know he is a playable char in Super Hero Squad.

[Feedback Request] Iron Man Feedback
Ahoy-hoy folks,
Let's start some fresh feedback(again) with the Biggest Update Ever releasing and the change to Talents & Traits:
What are your favorite powers or design aspects of Iron Man? What are your least favorite? Is there a particular power that you enjoy using more than any others, or is there a unique play-style element to Iron Man that makes you enjoy them more than other heroes? Are there any powers or Talents that you simply don't like or never use, and if so, why?
Do you have any suggestions that you think would make Iron Maneven more fun to play? The more specific you can be, the better! This can be anything from a change to an existing power, a completely new power or game play mechanic, or even cosmetic changes that you just think would look cool!
How do you currently customize your Talents and Traits on Iron Man? Please be as specific as possible here; is there a particular build you prefer to use over the other options? Feel free to post a screenshot of your favorite Talents & Traits setup!
Are there any bugs that apply specifically to Iron Man that you'd like to report? If there is a specific power, resource mechanic or hero-specific Unique that you have noticed not working as expected for Iron Man, please let us know here.
If there's anything else you'd like to give feedback on that is not covered by the above questions, please feel free to add whatever you think we should know.
Thanks!
Steam Achievements: Broken entirely, or just Send in the Clones?
Finally got around to finishing Send in the Clones, defeating 100 Mr. Sinister clones in X-Defense, and while I got the achievement in-game, it did not tick over in Steam. I was just wondering if that one is currently broken or are other people having problems getting any achievement in Steam right now?
Visual updates
does any know if there has been any news of whether or not the Reed, Thing, Torch will get VU? I know they aren't being sold anymore, but I thought they were still being "supported".
The Problem is Endgame, I've offered to help.
Back in May, I had the slight pleasure of tossing some messages/emails back and forth through Gaz. Specifically speaking with Jesse about the possibilities of me creating the base of an endgame (in a short amount of time) for free. The biggest caveat to our plan was that I am on the East coast, and for whatever reason, working remotely is not a possibility.
Anyway... with that said, I'm back again. To offer not only my services, but some a very simple roadmap to an endgame.
My personal belief, that is rooted with facts from many other games of this nature is that the reason MHO struggles with an endgame isn't "lack of content". It's lack of "competition". I believe that competition is what breeds a playerbase. Not only does it give the "hardcore" something to do, but it gives the "casuals" something to strive for. (And people to watch on Twitch). I mean, it's basically why pro sports work so well. This is something that MH has never really had... though has lightly touched their foots into the waters with ever so briefly (DR leaderboards). I've seen people get excited about the DR leaderboards... I've seen people theorycraft the best possible builds to finish that particular scenario the quickest. And... if it was something long term, this competition would bring more people into it with the challenge.
The idea is simple...the implementation is always much harder, however with that said, there are some things that could be done in a VERY QUICK (less than 2-3 weeks) timeframe and some things in a SOON (2-3 months) timeframe that could give you a solid BASE to an endgame.
Stage 1 - (Can be done in 2 weeks time max)
Everything in Holosim/Xdef already has scaling...Stage 1 is simple.
Web Design Work - Create something basic to show the following - Solo Progression / Group Progression (one for each of the 2 zones)
UI/Coding Work - Instead of the "queue" system, these simply just need a "Join alone"/"Join as group" button (to designate which leaderboard you will be in)
Rewards -- This doesn't even need planned for stage 1, just make sure exp/drop chance is scaling based on level and you'll be good for a bit, though it's something for down the road to really balance out.
Stage 2 - (Can be done in 2-3 months time)
Danger Room should have been your endgame from the start....a simple rework with leaderboards and your golden.
All maps simply have a level (no more rarity). Everytime you complete that map you get the next maps level and a small chance(5%-10%) at getting 2 of the next level.
At lvl 1 there are no affixes...just beat the scenario.
At lvl 10, 1 affix
At lvl 20, 2 affix
etc etc
(All these affixes are standardized, not random)
By lvl X you have all the affixes possible on a single map (it would be crazy, but amazing)
Oh the maps themselves can be random (the location) -- RNG isn't bad in competition.
Try to make rewards scale decently.
Keep track of the completions on the leaderboards.
Now if you wanna go "hard" on this design, you'll need timers for either time of completion or time until instance self-destructs (or both).
These are just the BASE though, you'll definitely want to build off these systems, and theres prolly HUNDREDS of ideas/routes you could take to get there. My goal is to get a BASE in place..and get the competitive people interested and engaged, and this mindset will take over the community and through that you will see your playerbase grow.
This base becomes a great place for special rewards/special events/seasons with different affixes/all KINDS of different ideas. But please...get yourself a generic base and build off of it.
And this is just MY personal idea for an endgame..I think it's a great base that others could work with and extend upon or slightly change etc, but something needs to start sooner rather than later, or there won't be a later.
Once again... I offer to do this for you, I have the knowledge, I have the ability, and while I don't have the time persay, I would still meet the 2 above deadlines. The only caveat.. I would have to work remote (but for free is what i'm offering).
Good luck Gaz, I really think your on the edge, and everything is at it's tipping point, it's time to show the community that you can succeed.
Suggestion for Taskmaster 2.0. combining all other suggestions.
Power Tree
Now further explanation.
- There are Four or Six Slots where you can chose powers including two missing here.
- Cyclone Club was changed for more popular and more useful Sliding Strike
- Evasive Webbing was changed into more popular and more useful Leaping Assault
.
.
Powers to Choose
How the changes work and how talents help?
You can choose every power listed. But choosing talents is what gives synergies between them. Examples:
- Spider-Man Talent: Using Evasive Webbing or Spider-Swing reduces cooldown of Leaping Assault by 2s
- Black Widow Talent: Not only changes Anti-Heroic charge into sillent Killer and gives Coup de Grace "deals +100% dmg in melee range". And maybe +X Crit dmg for 2s after entering stealth.
- Hawkeye Talent gives +Dmg to his boomerang arrow and freeze arrow and +Dmg to other ranged powers for 4s after you use this powers.
- Captain's Americ Talent makes his kick deal additional dmg after you use a shield power.
Power changes and new powers.
- Sword Throw is the sword icon. Dmg in the line 0,5 stun 6s cooldown.
- Rebounding Shield applies bleed on it's own.
- Swordsman's Assault: Arachnid Assault crossed with Deadpools 10 hit sword power with 8-10s cooldown.
- Dance of Dane is alternative to Swordsman's Assault if you want to deal dmg more often 2 charges 4s cooldown.
- Pendragon Slice icon is for other power that is worked on.
Ultimate: Show Of Skill 2.1 - "All of Them"
Taskmaster is known most for stealing techniques and skills from others and not their technology. How to make the current Ultimate represent it with mostly in game assets.
- Big Buff from Black Knight - with animation of sword play.
- Masterfull wide cone upgraded Speedloader Volley
- Devil's Due from a blind super ninja
- Swordsman's Flury Area sword dance like: Gamora, Deadpool, Electra x Spider-Man and Daredevil.
- Shield Toss/Strike like a Super Soldier - like is but with Taskmaster Symbol
- Blade's dance and acrobatics with two pistols - One sequence from ult but Tasky jumps much higher when heads down to shoot more and spin more
Other Changes
No Point Option in Tier 1 Talent
Like Punisher's own Damage Resistance: +10% per 25% health missing, + x% dmg to bosses and elites/enemies targeting you. And without much of work there is option not needing point and being viable one.
Passive Powers
Name Changes and other things:
- Ferocity of Wolverine this uses Captain's America mechanics. To make it flavoured with Logan's smell the resource could be renamed perseverance or ferocity and when you have enough you can push yourself reducing coldown. Alternatively becasue it's about gaining second wind or persevering maybe "Barnes Stubbornness" also he is also connected to Captain.
- Martial Arts of Luke Cage - This is the worst. Martial Arts and Dodge is totally a Daredevil's thing while Luke doesn't dodge nor do Martial Arts. Better go with Shang Chi or Moon Knight even.
Ferocity of the Wolverine could also be changed to have separate feoricty meter like Wolverine used to have and when it will be full it works but isn't filled so fast that mindless spam is only thing that happens. Simply not all powers should fill this bar and/or the generation should be slower.
Deadpool's Flexibility could show the stacks on the side bar. Maybe one icon with two sides-colors and number on each side-color.
Iron Fist Stance
First it doesn't give enough benefits even in full cooldown build.Unless someone needs that spirit. For me it's also too flashy. Second it have too many stances making it too random to be reliable. I propose 3 stances to be more like Rogue fun version of the borrowed stance:
- Crane-Tiger: Hp on hit + Critical Hit
- Serpentine-Dragon: Dodge + Snake Bite [dmg over time]
- Furious Leopard: Dmg on melee hit 1,5s cooldown.
Dual Wield and Legion Arrow
Both this powers do the same thing the same way. Single target dmg without any additions and changes like their melee counterpart were given.
- Dual Wield +Dmg for Attack Speed or +Attack Speed for Attack Speed.
- Legion Arrow +Crit chance or +Dmg against same target stacks 3 times every 3s.
This are all suggestions and probably can be improved upon but they are improvements on some current Power Choices, Talents and Mechanics in Taskmaster Power Kit. Everything posted here is possible and most of this is already in game. Please consider it in making him better and better in near future.
@Asros @KomoriMan @MichaelMayhem @TheArtofRawr @AgentFenixion
Also @Lux @Trucktub @LordStarscream
Powers that shouldn't have shield in their animation [like it was taken away from the bow powers].
- Coup de Grace
- Dual Wield
- .45
- Nunchuk beatdown
- Cyclone Club if it's not replaced.
are there any marvel games at all with a playable Mystique?
if so, whats her deal/style/skillset/gimmick?
So I have an awesome, but unorthodox idea for a character
This will more than likely never happen, just wanted to share this idea and see if anyone else thought it was cool.
So the character would be called "Sinister Six". You would start as a random member of the sinister six each time you switched to it, and there would be two or so moves unique to that member. The rest of the moves would be summons, and after their effects, you would switch to the character it summoned. So say you're playing as Venom and you summon Rhino, after that move finishes you would then be playing as Rhino, and so on. The sig could be an attack that summons six random members for a frenzy attack and the ultimate could be an all out attack featuring every member (there's 11 in game at the moment, despite the name). So basically it would be a summoner, where you control a combination of 11 different characters each with unique differences, but all sharing health/resource/gear etc. I would probably also say one additional member currently not in the game should be added, so there would be 12, a nice even number, divisible by 2.
Like I said, neeeeeever gonna happen, but I thought it was a sweet idea haha.
Square Enix Marvel game is an ARPG?
I read this from somewhere a while ago and not sure if a thread has already been made and if it has I don't really care mines more important anyway.
So what does this mean to MHO if they are really making an ARPG?? And what if it is an always online game?
[Feedback Request] Kitty Pryde Feedback
Ahoy-hoy folks,
Let's start some fresh feedback(again) with the Biggest Update Ever releasing and the change to Talents & Traits:
What are your favorite powers or design aspects of Kitty Pryde? What are your least favorite? Is there a particular power that you enjoy using more than any others, or is there a unique play-style element to Kitty Pryde that makes you enjoy them more than other heroes? Are there any powers or Talents that you simply don't like or never use, and if so, why?
Do you have any suggestions that you think would make Kitty Pryde even more fun to play? The more specific you can be, the better! This can be anything from a change to an existing power, a completely new power or game play mechanic, or even cosmetic changes that you just think would look cool!
How do you currently customize your Talents and Traits on Kitty Pryde? Please be as specific as possible here; is there a particular build you prefer to use over the other options? Feel free to post a screenshot of your favorite Talents & Traits setup!
Are there any bugs that apply specifically to Kitty Pryde that you'd like to report? If there is a specific power, resource mechanic or hero-specific Unique that you have noticed not working as expected for Kitty Pryde, please let us know here.
If there's anything else you'd like to give feedback on that is not covered by the above questions, please feel free to add whatever you think we should know.
Thanks!
What do i like about (the current state) of the game?
I do like
that Console took over TestCenter duty. Console tests the new stuff for weeks, no months, before stuff hits PC. It is so awesome! I don't even have to consider installing TC anymore.
that for months i can check out other games and when i get back to MHO i didn't miss out on anything but Infinity Points gain.
Mr. Hammonds Cat and that it is available via SSB. I start to get the right amount of Cats now.
that Psylocke is playable. In fact i like many other heroes playable too. Because this is the only source where i feel like i can pretend being that hero on one of her/his adventures currently AND they play/feel like the real deal.
that this thread might be filled with negative vibe and i don't care.
that i learned about some intriguing aspects of the gaming industry, people and respect.
Dash. Man i miss dash in about any other arpg i played lately.
Thats about it. I might have missed something though.

Edit: readability improved.
