So... really surprised that GotG2 came and went... and no Yondu. He completely carried the movie, showed off what he can really do... How is he not already out, or at least in the hopper?
Two trees, arrow and summons.
Arrow can block and attack. Single attacks and in his immediately circle. Arrow can give him limited flight as well. His sig has the upgraded fin where the arrow can wipe the screen whether he can see them or not.
Summons where he can summon ravagers and ship support.
His ult would be both at the same time.
Also, my wife has specifically asked at least twice now to make sure he's officially submitted as a suggestion... and I completely agree. Yondu would be an absolutely amazing addition to Marvel Heroes. I'm like 80/20 always wanting the X-Men side... but I'm behind Yondu 100%. Are you?
I was hoping they were going to be introduced with the Omega patch but that isn't the case. The power icons looks much better over there.
When the costume closet comes it gives you for your dupes free, guaranteed non dupe costumes.
I guess because of that some will not blend all dupes before the change.
If you have 1 or 2 or 3 dupes you get one new costume. If you have 4 or 5 or 6 dupes you get two. With 7,8 or 9 dupes you get three and so on.
So it would be a waste, if you have for example 2, 5 or 8 dupes.

"First off, the benefits for increased Omega Prestige ranks were overtuned and are being completely revised"
How can you have such bad game balancers/designers? Why they don't use the help from the community which has many good ideas?
@AgentFenixion @AgentPilot @Asros
In the Q&A thread it is mentioned that the Omega Prestige System is going to be overhauled, since you guys didn't properly test it and now realize that is beyond STUPIDLY BROKEN (even when some of us warned you right away). @AgentFenixion stated in one of the Console Forum Posts that they are monitoring responses etc, but what plans do you have to compensate players that have purchased the Omega Prestige packs? A big draw for many was having heroes gain a Trash Panda! of power through the system, and now since it will be tuned significantly down, what are your plans to compensate those customers that purchased those packages?
I know this isn't in the PC version, but I think it says a lot as a whole about your company, and I can't imagine I am alone in thinking that I wouldn't pay a cent more for this game if I don't see those customers properly compensated for something that you guys sold and are reverting/changing drastically all because it was improperly tested/thought of before rushing it out of the door to promote sales. Hopefully this is something that gets answered quickly to restore some buyer confidence in your product. Appreciate any insight and a quick response/resolution to those who may feel completely screwed over by this announcement and planned changes to a system that was rushed and not tested.
Well as some of you already know Laura Kinney aka X-23 will take over as the new Wolverine. She will be in two titles starting in November. The first one is All-New X-Men which is written by Dennis Hopeless and with Mark Bagely on art and the second one is her solo book which will be written by Tom Taylor and with David Lopez on the art.
Taylor and Lopez both have done an interview on Marvel.com talking about the book
David Lopez has allowed a look into his sketchbook and he explains his thoughts and choices.
And now I will post most of the art that has been released already. Enjoy
Oh yeah and in case people don't get it. The first cover is a homage to Wolverines first appearance in the comics
Yeah the Omega Prestige is stupid and nothing other then a second Infinity Point Tree but because people already have paid real money you should not change the + Benefits for Prestige.
You only need to calculate the EXP the same like Infinity Points.
Example:
Infinity System: 1 Attribute cost 100.000.000 EXP Points
Prestige: 4 Attributes cost 400.000.000 EXP Points (1 Omega Prestige)
For the other stuff like + Dodge you can calculate from the Infinity System too.
Might I suggest it be a support. She can already fly default wise so no reason she can't use her flight more in power design. So the idea would be a stance that puts her on the flight plane and boosts your ranged attacks by a %
Looking for heroes that have an energy dmg spam attack, that doesnt have a cooldown or need spirit. For example, currently i am loving Human Torch with his homing flares attack. HT starts with no spirit which i like so i can no worry about running out of resource. And by spam I of course mean I can hold down the power button and continually attack.
I have found that Iceman has a continual beam that uses no spirit. And it looks like Storm and a lightening attack that fits the description, can anyone confirm Storm has something like this?
Scarlet witch also no starting spirit and can continually attack, but its mental dmg but whatever.
HT has homing flares which finds targets which is cool, i dont suppose someone else has something like that.
I appreciate any suggestions. I love HT but i feel he is not supported very well.
Hey Gaz, I was just thinking...based off this picture of Deadpool, could we get what he's wearing as a wearable costume and also have 4 arms, each possessing a weapon?
Also, the lotus flower on which he is sitting on, could that be the form of travel - exclusively for the costume he is wearing?
I think that would be super cool.
Who are we and and are we actual mutants?
Casual easy going players. More mutations that you can count and sadly not many superpowers derived from these...
Our aim is to just have fun. Not much more to it than that. We're for the time being all longtime players who have been in other supergroups who have decided to make our own and now wish to expand our little fun group.
We're mostly a european group with a few americans but open to all so active hours are mostly CET. This could of course change if the americans decide to invade our group
Raids:
Is something we want to do! We have raided quite a lot in the past and want to get them going again.
Themed raids is a thing! Silly requirements for raids ups the fun factor instead of just hitting Surtur over the head for the bajillionth time. Examples of these could be all squirrel girl, all avengers etc.
Requirements:
As long as you're willing to have fun, participate in chat and of course willing to help those who may need it, then this is the place for you. The more mutations the better!
A note on voice chat:
We get asked this a lot and it's not something we do as such. We're not opposed to you using it but (for now anyway) it will not be a requirement.
Who are the mutants I need to get in touch with?
@Archenegger
@LoveSponge
@iamLooseCannon
@Miwicala
@roninken
@Goon3r73
Hi all,
This week will be the first of our revised Friday weekly threads!
As mentioned last week, we're looking to improve the content of these threads to bring everyone more previews, developer insights and more interesting content each week.
These threads will alternate each week with the main dish either being a sneak preview of some upcoming content, or answers directly from the developers. On the weeks where we show off upcoming content, we'll also open the floor to your questions, which we'll draw from to bring you those developer comments the following week.
This week, we'll be showing off a quick look at the new Costume Closet feature coming to PC with the Omega patch.
Let's get started!
This week the Cosmic Chaos event is live on the PC servers, and will run through October 4th. If you have any heroes you're looking to bring up to Cosmic prestige or just looking to score some extra loot from Cosmic terminals, this is the event to do it!
@MichaelMayhem recently stopped by the PC forums to post some developer insights regarding the design decisions and iteration path for the keyword changes and Omega Item systems coming to PC with the Omega patch.
If you missed it, you can find the dev blog here:
https://forums.marvelheroes.com/discussion/328224/dev-blog-on-keywords-and-omega-items/p1
He also took the time to answer quite a few questions in detail, so it's a good read if you're interested in the design process behind some of the changes coming to these systems in the future.
We wanted to bring you an inside look at some screenshots of the upcoming Costume Closet that's slated to be part of the PC Omega patch.
When the Omega patch releases on PC, costumes will no longer be items that you equip to your hero like other gear slots. Instead, the first time you log into your account after the Omega patch, we'll scan all of your inventory and S.T.A.S.H. and automatically move all of your available costumes into our new Costume Closet feature.
To access the Costume Closet, all you'll need to do is press a hotkey (currently Y by default) or click the new Costumes icon in the lower left-hand menu to bring up the Costumes panel:
From here you'll be able to select from any of the available costumes you have unlocked for that hero and instantly swap to your favorite one whenever you want!
You'll also be able to select from any other heroes in your roster from the drop down menu at the top of the Costumes panel if you want to change any of your other heroes' costumes.
After the Omega patch you'll never have to keep track of your costumes in your S.T.A.S.H. again and will always have access to your full costume selection at your fingertips.
Couple other notes regarding costumes in the Omega patch:
Since costumes are no longer "items" in the traditional sense, we won't be granting a copy of your hero's default costume upon completing a Prestige. This does also mean that the "costume blender" recipe will be retired since you'll no longer have costumes to insert into this recipe.
When we do the scan across your inventory & S.T.A.S.H. upon first login, if you have multiple duplicate costumes on your account, we'll grant your account 1 random costume unlock that you don't currently own for every 3 duplicate costumes on your account, so these duplicate costumes don't go to waste. If there are 1 or 2 duplicate costumes left on your account after this process, we'll unlock one additional random costume that you don't currently own so the "remainder" is not discarded.
The way costumes will be acquired is not changing in the PC version after the Omega patch. The majority of costumes will still be sold directly in the in-game store, with occasional Fortune Card exclusive costumes and "limited time" costumes that are not always available but can be purchased directly (for example Punisher's Frankencastle costume).
There's obviously going to be a ton more in the Omega patch that we'll drive to bring to the forums as we ramp up to this update that releases in November.
Curious about how something in Marvel Heroes Omega gets made? Maybe you want to know why a certain power works the way that it does, how a new item gets created from scratch, or just want to know why Alex Williams needs all that hair gel - we'll gather questions from this week's thread and take them directly to the developers who know the answers. We'll bring those direct quotes from the developers back for next week's Friday thread, so leave your questions here in this thread!
Note that we also have a livestream planned with the CEO and executive producer where they'll be answering broader questions about the future of Marvel Heroes Omega. If you have a question that you think would be better answered there, you can post them here:
https://forums.marvelheroes.com/discussion/328211/ceo-and-ep-q-a-live-stream#latest
That's all for this week. Have a great weekend everyone!
Hello all !
Just wander if anyone still have "Blinding Brazier of Balthakk" artifact that i can borrow, need it for "The Burning Crusade, Stage 4"have been asking like crazy in general chat and sg, but no luck. I really appreciate any help you can provide.
Why is the Big 10 chest limited to three artifact, two for the catalysts and one being Luke Cage's belt? Can't you throw in more?
There is still the red banner saying "The Marvel Heroes Omega PC servers will be going offline tomorrow (10/12) at 6 AM PDT for server maintenance. Downtime is expected to last up to 5 hours." instead of the green banner claiming it is back online.
@AgentPilot is it save to login again?
Ten more days to Login Date 1200!
Happy Friday the 13th, everyone!
except when it's for the console license!
There is really no way to read this as anything but that they didn't extend the PC license when they got the new console license.
