Operation OMEGA! 10/5 - 10/11 @ 11:59PM PDT!

EVENT DETAILS

S.H.I.E.L.D. has been infiltrated by HYDRA! Agent Coulson, Nick Fury and Dum Dum Dugan have put OPERATION OMEGA in to effect, calling all heroes to help stop HYDRA!

Players will be able to choose a side as either an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. or HYDRA to gather intelligence, battle enemies of each faction and earn exclusive rewards and achievements! Will you support Operation OMEGA and ensure a future for S.H.I.E.L.D. or will you assist HYDRA and attempt to thwart it?

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Talk to HYDRA Representative Baron Von Lind or S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Rose Solomon in Avengers Tower in order to select which side you want to fight for. Once you have selected a side, you are free to change your selection by talking to either representative at any time during the event.

After selecting your side, Intelligence Reports will drop off of bosses in the different Patrol Modes. Follow the instructions in the Intelligence Report to find a traitor to your faction and obtain faction specific rewards!

AGENT BONUSES

During the course of the event, Agents on both sides gain the following:

  • 50% experience boost!
  • 10 Omega Access Files for logging in each day

OTHER OMEGA-LEVEL FEATURES

Agent Coulson continues to offer a daily training mission during Operation Omega. Each day, you can complete five or more waves in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Holo-Sim to receive a reward from him. This will help hone your skills to be prepared for taking on the villainous HYDRA!

S.H.I.E.L.D OMEGA ACCESS FILES

Omega Access files can drop from Intelligence Report boss defeats, but can also be obtained in the following method:

  • 10 Omega Access Files just for logging in each day.
  • 30 Omega Access Files for completing Coulson’s training mission each day.
  • 60 Omega Access Files for completing the Shared Quests each day. (20 ea.)

"Omega" power tags and Tri-Build Rogue

So, it looks like Mental, Physical and Energy tags will soon be history, and that'll really change up some of the base architecture of how a lot of us build our Rogue's, taking advantage of bonuses from all 3 damage types. I'm curious to see how our power set is handled in terms of the new damage tags.

@MichaelMayhem has there been any discussion in the design team about the new tags and Rogue that you can share with us?

What do you the PLAYER want from Marvel Heroes?

$

So every game has its niche that gets the player addicted and brings them back wanting more everyday. I'm curious to see what about this game drives you to keep coming back, or what could be added to the game that would make you enjoy the game even more?

Me personally I love all the variety of content this game offers, but for me I'd like to see more incentives for each game mode. I.E. Holo Sim/Xdef, once you complete the achievements for these areas there is nothing that really brings me back wanting more from these game modes. I'd like the see the developers add new incentives to game modes like these to bring the players into these game mode more regularly, and want to continually do it past just getting achievements.

This is just one example for me, but I'd love to hear what other players find fun in this game, and/or what you'd like to see in the game to keep you coming back for more.

Marvel Heroes Omega optional monthly subscription

Q: Have the executives in this company ever thought about an opinion subscription for the game that would give the company a steady income each month to help bring in revenue, which in turn could be used to push out content at a more reasonable rate? My suggestion for the monthly sub would be give the players this..

$11.99 each month

*1 Random Hero Box
*1 Ultimate Upgrade Token
*Higher chance for multiple eternity splinters per drop
*Persistent first stack of the combination boost (which players could still consume 4 more boosts to bring it to a 5 stack but those would fall off after the allotted 30mins per boost).

Effect of Omega Update on Non-Toon Unqiues

$
0
0

Okay, this has been going around the forum on various threads and I have seen (and some responded to) to almost all of them. However, the question remains a mystery, as Gaz has still not responded so I thought I would make a thread out of it, in hope that one of the Mods answers. Here it is.

What will be the fate of non-toon uniques after the Omega update? For example, Fragment of Twilight, Essence of Jinn, Coat of the Skull, Skrull Military Uniform, Mzee's etc. Now, I understand most (if not all) do not have specific damage abilities (Mental, Energy etc.) in theirs stats and these are the ones that are going to be changed, as far as I know. The uniques I denoted above are vital for some of the main toons (got them on my mains), as they enhance some vital aspects. Like Blade, Juggs, SW, Ironman etc. If it is true, we will have to begin anew which, I think most of us will agree, is going to be a enormous effort.

@Orren @AgentFenixion @AgentVapor @AgentPilot Please respond. Or if the answer has been posted somewhere else, you can lock this thread and redirect it through a link.

"Actual Mutants" now hiring

$

0

Who are we and and are we actual mutants?
Casual easy going players. More mutations that you can count and sadly not many superpowers derived from these...

Our aim is to just have fun. Not much more to it than that. We're for the time being all longtime players who have been in other supergroups who have decided to make our own and now wish to expand our little fun group.

We're mostly a european group with a few americans but open to all so active hours are mostly CET. This could of course change if the americans decide to invade our group ;)

Raids:
Is something we want to do! We have raided quite a lot in the past and want to get them going again.
Themed raids is a thing! Silly requirements for raids ups the fun factor instead of just hitting Surtur over the head for the bajillionth time. Examples of these could be all squirrel girl, all avengers etc. :)

Requirements:
As long as you're willing to have fun, participate in chat and of course willing to help those who may need it, then this is the place for you. The more mutations the better!

A note on voice chat:
We get asked this a lot and it's not something we do as such. We're not opposed to you using it but (for now anyway) it will not be a requirement.

Who are the mutants I need to get in touch with?
@Archenegger
@LoveSponge
@iamLooseCannon
@Miwicala
@roninken
@Goon3r73
