I notice that the Gazillion game developers very rarely, if ever, post on these forums during the weekends. Mainly on Saturdays and Sundays. I presume that they all have the weekends off and aren't even inside their office from Friday evening to Monday morning (at the earliest). Unless there is a Holiday, of course.
I'm okay with that obviously. They all work hard and need a few days of rest and relaxation. You can't be working 24-7 or else it becomes very stressful. But if something major happens in this game (constant bugs and lingering issues) we have to be patient for it to be fixed. Unless a dev is really committed and can respond to us here on the forums from their home and what not. Like a few of them have graciously done in the past.
Ever since the devs nerfed the great experience for phase 2 of this Doctor Strange event there have been many problems for a lot of us. Whether they be bug related or simple game mechanics not working properly. Many people here on the forums have already listed them all in other threads so I'm not going to bother rehashing these frustrations.
Hopefully there can be a "fix up patch" in the next day or two (if not today) and not the usual Thursday or Friday. We've been patiently waiting since the end of last week for some type of improvements. I realize the developers are more concerned with implementing the beginning of the big system changes on Test Center by as early as Friday (this week), understandably so, but the current game shouldn't be totally ignored in the mean time.
Marvel Heroes 2016 is the greatest game ever made. I've had nothing but fun times in my one year playing this game. I wish I had found this game a lot sooner than I did. But in my entire time here I haven't been more frustrated than I've been over the past four days. It's just been really rough is all. The free Doctor Strange hero token on Saturday, along with the fact that I've been hitting more jackpots lately (5 since Thursday Night - 100 easy eternity splinters which allowed me to unlock my 40th playable hero in Blade) sort of make up for the bad times but that's not the point.
The experience seems greatly lacking. I'm leveling slower than ever, on all of my heroes, for some reason. Even my white, green, blue, purple, orange and red heroes seem to be leveling slow as a turtle. I know the side server experience is on and working (100 % or whatever) but I ain't noticing it. I had to use some experience boosters (400 % total) just to see it leveling like it normally does when there isn't even a massive event going on.
Sigh, my two cents anyways. Sorry if this seems like a long rant. I'm just not pleased is all. I still enjoy the game and I still force myself to play when I can even despite all the struggles. Playing a buggy and watered down Marvel Heries is still better than playing Diablo III and Path of Exile.
I just feel like this Doctor Strange event was painfully decent.
It had potential to be incredibly awesome though. Nerfing it ruined it, IMO.
