So, I've been playing MH since release and have every single character in the game unlocked and @ 60 save Angela. Of all of these characters I love Colossus the most. I bought him at the very release of this game because I've always been a fan and he pretty much sucked back then, hah! I've rediscovered him again in the last few months and he is absolutely brilliant now and captured my interest to play.
Where he isn't the best damage hero, he is decent for that, he is by far the best tank in the game. His ULT, those sexy bruts, his relatively easier attack rotation, and above all; his absolute unwillingness to go down... Yeah, I tried diamond Emma with 10k omegas and BiS tank gear - she's good, but she's no Colossus.
Anyway, I'm really nervous this new update may homogenize and strip all that away. I have no doubts what so ever that Gazillion is competent and with the best intentions in mind for us and the future of this game. That said, however, I'm not drinking the Kool Aid in this huge hype train, I can't drink it. I'm not entirely sure on a granular level Gaz fully understands why we all like the characters we do and retain that. I have a feeling some of the magic is about to be lost.
So yeah, I'm a little skurd I'm about to lose my man, my tank, my legend (as far as I'm concerned). Hoping for the best, preparing for the wurst (see what I did there?). I'm going to go pour some WD40 out for my Colossus.
