This is a discussion for us all to share a reason we grew to love Marvel Comics and treasure it close to our hearts.
I'll started off my reasons as to why I'll cherish Marvel closely to my heart.
First off it's rich and colorful cast of characters each brought something vastly different that made the experience of reading comics from Marvel feel fresh almost every time. Plus it never felt like they were just focusing on the popular characters only (that being Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine). Marvel was constantly continued to flesh out even it's underrated cast of characters and with the right writing and marketing push. They can turn them into an A-Tier titans in comic books, examples of this were characters who once unknown and now an A-List Marvel character are Iron Fist, Black Panther, Hawkeye, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Inhumans, and much more. No Marvel character regardless if they were street levelers, gods, or cosmic beings felt behind. They've all become strong, powerful, and badass in their own right.
Lastly, I love the fascinating origins and history of Marvel Comics where many of their characters were created to reflect on the social issues and political crisis that was going on during the 1960's. Whether it was the Cold War conflict with the Soviet Union/Russia, the Civil Rights movement, and so much more. Not only that, but to also create a diverse cast of characters that represents each community and race. And Marvel continues this trend even to this day and that's what makes a lot of their characters feel like believable and relatable human beings because of how grounded they are a bit towards reality (that's assuming whenever they don't pander into the forced diversity and political correctness BS route where they sacrifice great storytelling for the sake of diversity that is).
God bless Stan Lee and his frequent collaborators, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko for giving us a lot of the Marvel characters we know and love today <3
