I don't shy from this kind of invitations. I will not write my reasons or advertisment for the character because when I asked Scathach to recomend her, he did a amazing job at that and sold me on this minx of a hero.

"I can't stress enough how much I love her. This world needs positive characters that are not a comic relief and are heroes in their own rights. Her story and personality are among the most interesting for me in Marvel, or perhaps any comics universe at all. It started as your average teenage X-man story, but turned grim rather fast. And most importantly - do you know what's the difference between a good and a bad written character? The good one always evolves. Character-wise. And that's what Pixie does all the time. And I don't mean sudden character changes on an author's whim cough Iceman cough, but actual logical growth of her personality.

And as far as her powers go... man, that's something. If you think Magik or Dr.Strange are cool - just dig a bit into Pixie's powers. She'll top them both.

First of all - teleportation. Any distance, any (afaik) number of characters at once, no restrictions. There was a comic panel where Nightcrawler was literally complaining about how jealous he is of her teleportation.

Magical powers. And not just a tiny little bit. She is a candidate to Sorcerer Supreme title and Doctor Strange himself promised to teach her. I'd take his opinion on this matter as an authority :P
But hey, if it's not badass enough yet, she has a soul dagger. Basically, like Magik's sword, but portable and more stylish :P And come on, stabbing people with a piece of your own soul... "awesome" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Then we have "pixie dust". Long story short - imagine DC's Scarecrow, but super-cute and no needles. She made limbo demons see pink teddy bears... yeah, I'm not making it up. She'd totally beat Batman.

Add to that sexy cute and stylish wings. What's not to love?"

Pixie

Introduction

Origin
Megan Gwynn, alias Pixie was raised by her grandparents in the small mining town of Abergylid in Wales. Her mutant powers manifested in a near-miss road accident involving her bicycle and another car. She could manifest rainbow-colored butterfly wings allowing her to fly with great maneuverability.

Paragon Squad
After enrolling at the Xavier Institute, Megan was assigned to the Paragons training squad under the tutelage of former New Mutant, Wolfsbane.When it was discovered that Wolsfsbane had been in a romantic relationship with a student, Elixir, she left the school, and was replaced by her former teammate, Magma.

Gwynn proved herself to be an amiable and cheerful student, and she fit in well with her squad. Following M-Day, nearly all of the Institute's students were depowered, leading to the dissolution of the school's training squads. Gwynn was one of only 27 students, along with her fellow former Paragons, Trance, Wolf Cub, and Match, to have retained their mutant abilities. Forty-two of Gwynn's former classmates were killed when a bus carrying several depowered students was ambushed. Among the confirmed deaths was Gwynn's fellow Paragon DJ.

Limbo
Pixie, along with Anole, Loa, Wolf Cub, Gentle, Rockslide, and Match, were told a frightening "ghost story" by their fellow student, Blindfold, one night at the school. Pixie, frightened by the story, told Blindfold that she didn't like her anymore. Blindfold apologized to her and told her, "I'm sorry for your loss". It soon turned out that this tale wasn't a story at all, but rather a vision of things past and of things to come. The group was soon sucked down into the realm of Limbo, where they were immediately attacked by a mob of demons. Pixie stayed by Blindfold's side during the fight, and Blindfold cautioned Pixie and the others that Gwynn must not "fall into darkness". She used her powers for the first time, incapacitating several demons with her "pixie dust", causing them to suffer psychedelic hallucinations. After Illyana Rasputin, now known as Darkchylde, saved the small group, she asked N'Astirh to bring Megan to her. Despite her friends' trying to stop her, Megan gave into Darkchylde's request for a portion of her soul to create a Soulsword. Illyana then explained that the knife was actually a portion of Pixie's own soul, which is why her Souldagger was smaller than the original Soulsword. Black magic could now fill the hole left behind in the knife's creation, leaving Pixie to no longer be an innocent personality as well as changing a great portion of her hair black instead of the previous pink.

Pixie was taught a teleportation spell by Illyana. She teleported her and her friends to Belasco to stop him from torturing the rest of the team. She was then told that in order to save her friends she must use her knife to stab Belasco. Initially hesitant, Pixie followed through with her orders and lost more of her innocence by killing the villain. After defeating Belasco and escaping from Limbo, Pixie was officially made a member of the New X-Men.

Powers and Skills

Wings: Pixie has insectoid wings protruding from her back that allow her to engage in flight and with great maneuverability. Her wings were formerly-rainbow-colored and butterfly-like wings.

Hallucinogenic Dust: Pixie produces spores from her wings which cause powerful visual and auditory hallucinations in her victims. This dust effects others by being inhaled or through skin-contact. Often the hallucinations are calming and pleasant images such as teddy bears, bubbles and unicorns. At this time, Pixie does not have control over what her victims see.

Teleportation: After the creation of her Souldagger, Darkchylde taught Pixie a teleportation spell, "Sihal novarum chinoth!". With this spell, Pixie can transport her and others great distances instantaneously. She can also teleport inter-dimensionally. Even while inexperienced in teleporting, Pixie has shown a great amount of aptitude for it to the point where she is able to warp to and reach locations before her teleportation coach: Nightcrawler.

She posses:
Souldagger. A piece of Pixie's soul was taken by Darkchylde to forge a smaller version of the Soulsword, called the Souldagger. The Souldagger has displayed many of the same qualities as the Soulsword including:
Strike the Supernatural: The Souldagger has been shown to only harm magical creatures or objects -- it rarely injures non-magical beings or items.
Counter/Break Spell: When Pixie uses the Soulsword to strike a person who is possessed, ensorcelled, or otherwise magically controlled or transformed the sword will be able to counter or break the spell.
Sword Summoning: Pixie can store her Souldagger in nothingness and summon it whenever she desires.

Power Trees

  Butterfly wings and all the flying they give. Pixie dust which sounds cute but is a psyhodelic spores that cause halucinations mostly of cute and cudly, pinkish things. And of course magic. Mostly teleportation but somewhere there is a dagger and a sleeping spell as well.

• X-Men
  You are an X-Men and you show this in your fighting style. Here are tactical attacks and manouvers that use your flight and teleportation as an advantages. You also can bring some help from your X-Girls squad.

Like Rogue she flies or stands depending on the power/move/situation she ended with.

One Pixie coming through Movement, Melee lvl 1

• Pixie flies fast in straight line hiting enemies on her path.

Drop the dust Movement, Area lvl 1

• Have the most cuddliest dreams my sweeties.
  Fly over target ciruclar medium-small area sprinkling enemies with your pixie dust. They start to have vivid visions and become easier targets. Land in that area.

Teleport spell Movement

• "Sihal novarum chinoth" first spell in your inventory. It maybe works slower than nightcravlers but he can't match you at long distances.

  Teleport enemies from small area high into the air and when they fall the become damaged.

• Ok, here we go. Remember what they said in that documentary about that big underground lava reserve. They shoould be right there - Sihal novarum chinoth.
  Teleport some lava from far below the crust and pour some on your enemies.
  Portal apears above enemis and lava starts to pour leaving target area burning.

Pixie dust in your eye Melee, Area

• You won't some? You get teddy bear visions and a punch in the gut.
  Flap your wings while being in front of enemies to generate a cone of your halucinogenic dust.
  They stop where they stand and are more suseptible to your melee attacks.

Souldagger Melee

• Only part of my soul in the shape of a dagger. Maybe the one that cuts people is shaped like that.
  Produce from the thin air a dagger made out off your soul. Slash everyone around you doing a spin. For Xs your melee powers use soulddager dealin mental dmg and changing their animations.

Sleeping Spell Ranged

• -Concentrate Megan. Focus on Rockslude. Imagine Him drfiting away ... and cast your spell! -Mists of morpheus go! Ohmygodohmygodohmygod.
  Using too much power behind the sleep spell you produce a powerfull beam that hits target enemy piercing enemies in the path. Around target enemy there is also a little area of explosion.

• Punch, pivot, kick, dodge, feint, knock out punch. They weren't lying it will come in handy.

• They look like they could use some training.

Teleport them into the sun Area

• You teleport all enemies on the screen into the sun. They disapear and the red heat is seen in places they were standing. Only bosses stand but hot glowing sun is seen around them for a split second [few frams] and then they are covered with burning glow effect [Like when Scarlet Witch uses her Signature].
  Grays and blues disapear.
  Dmg X to the rest [if dmg is enough they also disapear]
