I see a lot and I do mean a lot of post regarding the 90% discount cards. I think the people expressing outrage over this are correct. If the developer did indeed manipulate the code to give non-paying clients a better chance, this is in acceptable. They are literally cheating us not only with RNG, but a more extreme version of it.
I read someone used the Taco Bell PSVR contest as an example and how we shouldn't be mad at people winning, which is correct, but we should be furious at Gaz for this. If we eat lunch every day at Taco Bell for a chance to win this item and when we walk in they have 2 stacks of boxes, 1 with a 1 in 1 million chance to win and the other box, a 1 in 5 chance to win and they only give the second option to the guy that buys lunch one a year and he wins..........how is that right?
This makes me rethink other aspects of this game as well, like the fortune cards. How do we know they don't set up modifiers in the code to reduce your chance the more you spend? I can tell you after $500 bucks trying to get the Captain costume, I'm not very happy to know they can manipulate the RNG. Which is what they are blatantly saying. So no, it's not whining entitlement because people want the same CHANCE as everyone else, it's blind stupidity to defend it. I personally refuse to buy anything until this is addressed and rectified. If you're smart you will do the same. We are the customers here.
