So, one thing I've been noticing as I've been following all the news surrounding the upcoming shift from Unique items to Omega items is that a lot of confusion seems to be stemming from the example Omegas used in the dev blog. Concerns including the stats and affixes to be used, low stat rolls, the extent of the randomization, bland & flavorless appearance, and subpar Omega Powers have seemingly all been raised moreso from the sample images we were provided than from the actual descriptions and clarifications provided by the dev team.
So, while I was waiting on laundry to finish and had a few minutes to kill, I hopped into Photoshop and whipped up some Omega item samples of my own, using stat weights more in-line with i69 gear and pulling from the additional information provided in Asros's FAQ thread regarding flavor, randomization, stat value, attributes, etc. I figure with a visual aid better reflecting the description of how these items intend to work, it may help dissuade some concerns and drive more productive discussion about others.
I did three of the same item to better demonstrate what we can expect from the "randomization" based on the descriptions we've been given (or at least, how I interpret them).
@Asros @TheArtofRawr Are these fairly close to the intended design (both visually and functionally) for Omega items?
