Blade 8% Damage Reduction

Yes, this suggestion has been brought up every TC iteration.
Now it's my turn! :D

Can we please have the 8% damage reduction?

I believe you said that would this change would be overpowered, but I disagree.

Here is my suggestion:

Hit with a melee power and have 8% damage reduction for the next 4 seconds.
Deadpool and Rogue have this on their passives, so why can't Blade? What makes him any different? It would help out Blade players a lot. Thanks!
