I mean, I'll be the first to admit I don't know much about Angela. But I did notice that, when her fans were describing her to other ignorant folks like me, she usually got portrayed as some sort of badass warrior with swords and axes and Asgardian strength and such. A lot of pictures of her holding a severed head were thrown around, for instance. So the way I ended up seeing her was like "Female Thor with swords". Probably an oversiplification, but it's how I saw it.
Anyway, you can imagine I was surprised when it wasn't her swords, but rather her ribbons, that turned out to be her defining feature. I mean, I'm no fool; I remember hearing she had ribbons. A move like her "ribbon turret" was to be expected, as far as I was concerned. But does she really use them this often? It's like virtually every interesting move involves her ribbons, and the word "ribbons" only comes up once on her entire Marvel Wiki page!
Am I the only one thinking this? Am I wrong in thinking she's using her ribbons too often, and it's actually very consistent with how she fights? Or do you think this might just be a situation where the developers are leaning on the ribbons heavily because they see it as a way to add flavor to what might be another "stock" melee character?
