Empire magazine has just released some new concept art for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that features them taking on some kind of Alien beast. This looks like a scene that was described in the trailer that was shown only to those in attendance at SDCC in July last month.
Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2 opens in theaters May 5, 2017.
James Gunn himself just announced on twitter that the creature the Guardians are facing off against is called an Abilisk.
