...and was not disappointed. With some gear, she is super fun, yet I have had some notes on some things I found odd or outdated and wanted to come here to see if they are universal.
Spirit issues--In the time I have looked at these forums, I can see this is a major issue.
Uniques--Her uniques seem to be a bit outdated; even with full melee uniques, her signature does not pass 40 points due to the lack of +3 to all powers and focus on other abilities. I feel Widow should have some similar mechanic to Tanya's Love Letter, perhaps weakening enemies around her or dealing extra damage to them (for that is Widow). Also, what is up with her second slot 5 unique? The Gloves are WAY better.
Slow animations--I play full melee, and I have noticed how Deadly Kick and Sweepkick both are a bit lethargic; seems uncharacteristic for an agile assassin, especially Widow. I do, however, enjoy Acrobatic Assault's animation.
Low defense--I feel she should have VERY high defelct/dodge, for in the comics, she has shown her elusiveness quite well, even dodging a bullet at point blank range. I wish she had a bit more resilience since she has to stand in place due to the long animations of abilities; also, why does she not have a passive parry effect? In the movies AND comics, she parries quite often. She should be able to "parry" when she effectively dodges an attack, perhaps dealing damage equal to a percentage of the oncoming damage back at the attacker (or just straight damage since it would be difficult to balance against raid bosses since she could deal that massive damage back lol)
Ranged Build--Her ranged build really fails to impress; it does very petite damage.
Her travel ability is pathetic and slow.
