I have this curiosity and I wanted to ask here just for fun. Do you like to try your luck with the Random Hero Boxes or you just save enough splinters to buy the heroes you want?
To me, it's fun to try your luck and after get some random hero, you have the option to try something different from what you usually like (like people that only like melee characters), and who knows? maybe you end liking the character.
Also... for someone like me that almost never can save more than 200... it helps, I already got Doom from these boxes, but in my case I want Spider- Man, but at the same time don't, because if I get it I will feel the NEED to buy the Spider-Girl costume hahaha, so every time I try my luck, something inside me wants Spidey, but at the same time I feel like I will have to spend money to buy the costume (because obviously I will not be able to resist...), and when is other hero is like... NOOO!... Today I tried one and I got Thor, probably I will try the character later.
Surely most part of people have more patience than me collecting the Eternity Splinters ;P
