I know there are other threads where I could have posted this, but I don't want this to be lost somewhere. I want people to test this before Gaz panic-fixes this in a way that might not fix it right.
It have seemed to me that the people complaining about XP after the changes are people who uses buffs. At least 150% together with 210% synergy.
And people who can't understand what they are talking about are people who don't level while buffed - or only with 50% buff.
Anyway, I think the trick to getting more XP is being massively over-levelled. For instance, doing Shocker at level 55 gave me 3 levels.
Obviously people that are crazy buffed, will be massively over-levelled. And thus they are getting max level faster, and the rest that are not over-buffed, are likely to only experience the game at about the level we were supposed to, so we don't get the crazy levelling-speed.
Thus, if I am right, Gaz should overall reduce XP as that would not help on the real problem which seems that people are getting too much XP when very high level.
Could people please help test this before Gaz puts in the nerf in 5½ hours?
EDIT: What I am trying to say is this:
If Gaz just nerfs XP in general then they won't fix the problem. They will only aggravate it.
XP has to only be lowered on fast missions in the beginning (like the instant mission in chpt 3, Shocker etc.).
(Or rather XP should be granted on a basis on how long it takes from getting the mission to getting the XP for the mission. Getting the XP we do now just for talking to Heimdall would be a much better place to nerf, than just nerfing XP on all missions overall - but really, it is mainly the fast stuff in the beginning that needs a nerf in my book).
