Who was your favorite character as a kid, and did it change as an adult?

 For me, it was Wolverine as a kid.  I totally gravitated towards his loner mentality and all of the issues he had with his anger and rage.  I also for some reason dug the fact he had claws and was willing to take a swipe at people at a moments notice.  Kind of like me.

 Now, as an adult, I gravitate towards Iron Man.  I had the alcohol issues, pushing people away issues, but also developed the pretty boy mentality with a little bit of money.  I like tech toys and how Stark believes the world can't go on without him.  I guess in a way, he's a guy I want to be as a hero-without the alcoholism.  

 A close second are the Asgardians. My girlfriend is Norwegian and we travel extensively to Norway and I enjoy the parallels (sometimes places and names and stories vary for canon) of real Norsk mythology.  You would be surprised how close the stories are.

 For the rest of you, you don't have to out your personal stories, but did you experience something of the same?  Did you change or remain the same? Why did you choose who you chose to like?
