Was he reprogrammed for good or something? Didn't he rightly determine that humans were the cause of all the bad things in the world?
I don't get how is was "approved" to be a hero.
Venom and Green Goblin both went "suicide squad" with bombs implanted to serve SHIELD, but also had acts of heroism. Venom known as the Lethal Protector and Goblin having his own charade.
Magneto, obviously wanting to kill humans and make mutants reign supreme, on many occasions attempted to follow xavier's dream most noticeably after he died.
Juggernaut has fought on the side of good when his god deems who his enemies should be, his main hatred was for Xavier but when it comes to things like the planet being in danger, he's been a good guy.
Black Cat was a thief, but with Spider-man she had her own times when she was a good cat and actually fought crime with Spidey. If it wern't for inferior spidey oct, she may have stayed good.
But then we have Ultron, I don't recall anywhere where he was a good guy other than the very very earliest incarnation of him when Hank designed him.
EDIT 2: THEY REPROGRAMMED HIM: https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelheroes/comments/4ol94d/ultron_is_coming/
EDIT 1:
I'm 100% aware of Ultron's history and different variations. You don't need to explain them unless someone asks.
I was looking for a: Logical explanation as to how Ultron would fit into our Marvel Heroes story-type universe. Every character in-game has an explanation as to why they would be fighting alongside the heroes, against heroes, and next to SHIELD. There are examples above, but even the Carnage team-up in-game has a description where this incarnation was "warped" to still be sinister, but actually be a good guy. I am looking for a similar explanation because the Ultron as we all know it (the default one) is evil, wanting to see all humans perish due to their violent flaws causing their own self destruction. i do not see any motivation or logical reasoning in the game as to WHY he would fight with us.
IF. There is NO logical explanation and Gaz has decided to just put playable characters in the game for fun, with logic aside or a story-mode explanation as to how it works, then that is 100% fine. I'm just curious as to how this came to be.
If Thanos becomes so popular and people want to play him, why would we as Thanos go to the abandoned subway to defeat shocker. Of all the things we could do, plans we have, intentions etc. why would we do this? If they explain that Thanos is no longer in love with Death and doesn't wanna kill everything in THIS universe that is the kind of explanation I am looking for.
- If you respond with Who cares, I obviously do. If you don't, that's fine, but that doesn't mean you should convince me not to care. Aren't we all entitled to our own opinion?
