Introduction
Someone said it's not what's at the end that matters, it's the journey there (or something like that).
I don't usually play post 60 stuff, but I level a lot, so I tend to find builds that make it enjoyable (or I wouldn't still be playing). I'm gonna share with you power builds that make heroes enjoyable to level.
This post is to compile every build link on the respective hero forums.
Things To Note
These builds are NOT DPS friendly. We can't have fun with a hero that's so weak with no damage output whatsoever but these are (probably) not viable for post 60 content like raids. So don't factor in the "math" and what not because these powers I choose are what I find fun, not necessarily for full damage output, cos there are hundreds of builds out there just for that.
Most if not all these builds make use of basics, because I find them useful for leveling, but I'll give alternatives to place points into if you really don't wanna use them.
- I won't include gear options and Omegas, I will try to suggest some Hero Synergies.
- This is mostly a one man project (unless I get help from the Mavericks for some builds), so don't expect there to be builds up every day.
- I won't take these too seriously (I don't seem a serious guy, do I?), I'll include recommended costumes and pets because lol.
- Some heroes will have several possible build choices, and some heroes would have explanations on all attacks instead of only those used.
Since these heroes probably appear in a movie/TV show I will keep silent on spoilers but after the DVD release or so I'll let it go. (like Falcon's appearance in Ant-Man) Also, if it's in a trailer, it doesn't count as a spoiler unless it's something that actually spoils the movie (like Doomsday's appearance in BvS)
To be honest all my builds are quite formulaic, following the same pattern, cos I find that pattern fun to play. :P

Leveling Tips
Here are some basic things you should know for leveling fun and easily.
Always pick up gear. If you don't, you'll find yourself weak or squishy or both. Always make it a point to pick up all purples until a point you don't need them to be strong (~level 50) or you keep finding cosmics/uniques.
Put your team-ups on active. With the new Team-Up 2.0 rework, Team Ups are way more durable and powerful, so keeping them active helps you to distracts enemies, clear mobs easier and have some added damage to bosses.
To level quickly, use the Holo-Sim from 1-12, then Industry City Patrol from 12-20. After that do Legendary Quests, especially Red Terminals as they give the most XP. If your hero can't handle Red Terminals, stick to green. Skip any LQs you find too tedious like Story quests with Gold Rooms, but don't keep rerolling till you go bankrupt.
With the new Story Mode Revamp, XP is better in Story mode, so you should consider perhaps going to the bosses in Story Mode if you don't feel like completely doing the story.
Use boosts. This is one I'm guilty of, I don't use my boosts, so leveling usually takes longer, and I don't find useful items like Uniques that easily. If you have them, use them and it'll be way easier.
Plan your points well. These builds of mine tell you which skills to max, so when you know this particular move you should max is coming next, plan the amount of points you'll get for the levels before you unlock the move, don't max your already unlocked moves, but balance it out. For example: Absolute Zero is level 30 and I'm level 28, that means I have 6 points more till I get that move. If my other attacks are all maxed at around 10, there'll be imbalance in the power. Save your points for your next unlocked move and make sure your attacks have balanced points.
Useful synergies
As @KittleKat suggests, these are some basic synergies you can use for leveling if you have these heroes at 50. Of course you can choose not to use these if you don't find them useful, and use other synergies that cater to your hero.
Cyclops - Gives you a 10% XP bonus when he's at 50, super useful for leveling.
Deadpool - Rare Item Find for items and Special Item Find for some event loot that might be used to purchase items.
Doctor Doom - Provides +10% power to your Signatures, useful unless you don't use Signatures or have none.
Gambit - Provides you credit and Rare Item Find for getting useful loot while leveling and cash for rerolling LQs.
Hulk - Gives a 6% health bonus, keeps you alive.
Rogue - Provides bonus health and spirit when you hit, so if you hit fast then you'll be healing quick.
Storm - 30 more spirit so your heroes can dish out more attacks before running dry.
Venom - 3% bonus health, and also gives you more damage when you're below half health.
Leave a reply if you have questions.
Also high-five to those who can guess all the references in the titles of these builds.
Thanks for checking this out!
